The short version
- Necessary cookies keep you signed in and remember your choices. They’re always on.
- Analytics cookies from Google Analytics are only set if you accept them.
- No advertising cookies. Entry doesn’t advertise, or track you for ads.
- Change your mind any time with Cookie settings, at the foot of our pages.
A summary to help you read what follows. The full text below is what applies.
How Entry uses them
Entry’s cookies fall into two groups:
- Necessary. Entry can’t work without them: they keep you signed in, keep your account secure and remember the choices you’ve made. The law doesn’t require consent for these, so they’re always on.
- Analytics. Google Analytics cookies help us understand which pages people visit and how they use Entry, so we can measure and improve it. They’re only set if you accept.
We don’t use advertising cookies, and we’ve switched off Google Analytics’ advertising features, including Google signals.
Before you choose, and if you decline
Until you accept, Google Analytics runs in a restricted mode: it sets no cookies and reads nothing stored on your device. It sends Google basic signals without identifiers, such as “a page was viewed”, which Google uses to estimate overall numbers. That’s all it does if you decline, too.
Changing your choice
Use Cookie settings, at the foot of our pages, to accept or decline analytics cookies at any time. If you decline after accepting, we delete the Google Analytics cookies from your browser straight away.
An Entry shown on its own custom domain is a separate website to your browser, so it asks for your choice separately. To change it there, clear that site’s cookies in your browser and it will ask again.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings. Blocking necessary cookies will stop you from signing in.
